We are blooming!
It has been an incredible couple of weeks full of joy, progress, and communal effort here at the Grace Family campus. The bustling activity, from the laughter of children to the diligent work of our staff and the transformation of our physical space, has filled our community with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement for what the future holds.
Our journey began with an extraordinary event that marked not just a highlight of our summer but set a tone of enthusiasm and engagement for the entire Grace family. On July 21st, we welcomed over 200 children to our Grace Kids Camp. This event was nothing short of magical, brimming with the most incredible worship time, activities, learning, and moments that those children will likely remember for years to come. The camp was an “all hands on deck” scenario, witnessing over 100 volunteers stepping forward to ensure every child felt welcomed, engaged, and valued. From arts and crafts to meaningful conversations about life, the camp was a beacon of joy and heartfelt engagement. We are already buzzing with ideas and the anticipation of hosting another Grace Kids Camp next year, hoping to touch more lives and spread even more joy.
This week, our Berean Christian School’s Faculty and Staff returned to our campus, infusing our space with their dedication and passion for education. With the school year poised to start next Wednesday, they have been tirelessly working, not just on their lesson plans but also on preparing their hearts and minds for the journey ahead with their students. It’s a new chapter filled with challenges and opportunities for growth, and we are collectively praying for their journey through the school year, hoping it’s filled with moments of triumph and profound learning.
Simultaneously, our campus itself is undergoing a wonderful transformation. Our parking area is now adorned with beautiful trees and bushes, adding a touch of nature’s calmness and beauty. Inside our buildings, walls are being painted, bringing freshness and vibrancy; tile work has been completed, adding elegance and functionality, and bathrooms are being installed, ensuring comfort and convenience for everyone on campus. The entrance to our campus is also witnessing significant enhancements, with construction in full swing to add a third lane, making it more accessible for everyone. This physical transformation, though time-consuming, is an exciting testament to the growth and development of our community.
To give everyone a glimpse into the vibrant life at our campus, we captured photos of these happening moments. From the bright smiles of children participating in activities at the camp to the diligent faces of our faculty and staff preparing for the school year and the gradual transformation of our campus - each photograph tells a story of hope, teamwork, and progress.
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30 am, as we continue our Lost and Found sermon series with Pastor Jeff.
