The Audition Process

If you are interested in joining our worship team, then you are in the right place! The Grace Worship Team is always accepting auditions for vocalists and musicians through our online audition process.

As with any team, our team is unified in vision and purpose. Before your audition, we ask that you take the time to read our Worship Team Expectations. This will explain what we look for in team members as well as what is expected of them. We look forward to seeing your audition!

After you send in your audition videos, we will review them within one week and follow up with you via email regarding the next steps. Note: If you play multiple instruments or sing and play, we ask that you submit to us separate videos to review each independently.

Lastly, if you have any questions about the process, please contact our Worship Pastor, Music Director, or A/V Director if you are interested in joining the Tech Team.

Preparing Your Audition

Here you will find everything you need to prepare for your audition. We have chosen these songs specifically as they will emphasize your instrument/voice. That being said, we are not expecting perfection! Please do your best so that we can get a good idea of your current level as a musician. These resources will also give you an idea of how our teams are expected to prepare for rehearsals and Sunday mornings.

Note for Vocals: Male vocalists, please record yourself leading the male-led song and harmonizing along with the female-led song. Female vocalists, please record yourself leading the female-led song and harmonizing along with the male-led song. Thank you!

Other Auditions

If you play another instrument or have another special gift that you want to share with us, we would love to accept these auditions as well! You may play the violin, cello, saxophone, banjo, or excel in drama, spoken word, or any other gifting. We may not utilize these every week, but we would love to utilize your gifts where we can! Simply record yourself playing a song or two, or send us any videos of past performances of your artistic ability!

Submitting your Audition

You can create and submit your audition in these three steps,

  1. Rehearse – Download the resources for your specific audition above and use the provided mp3, video, and chord chart to practice.

  2. Record – Follow the instructions listed in our “How To” document for recording your audition.

  3. Submit – You can submit your audition by filling out the form below, including the links to your audition video submission.
